Help a Friend with ALS

Here's an easier and potentially more effective way to help people with ALS than dumping ice water over your head. Please take a look at this petition aimed at obtaining the FDA's "accelerated approval" of a new drug, GM604:

While there is still relatively little clinical data available for this drug, early results have been very promising and current ALS patients simply don't have the time to wait for the normal approval process. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
